M365 / Share Point Engineer

This a Full Remote job, the offer is available from: United States, Indiana (USA)

About The Opportunity

Netrix Global is looking for a client-facing M365 / SharePoint Engineer with a strong focus on SharePoint and Microsoft 365 migration delivery. The role will assess, plan, and execute migrations using platforms such as AvePoint and ShareGate, while protecting permissions, metadata, content structure, and business continuity.

The engineer will also build SharePoint Framework (SPFx) solutions and deliver Power Apps and Power Automate capabilities connected to SharePoint and Microsoft 365. Depending on the engagement, the role may contribute to Copilot Studio agent development where SharePoint content, workflows, or Microsoft 365 services form part of the solution.

The ideal candidate combines hands-on migration expertise with development, automation, governance, and client-facing delivery skills. Success means predictable migrations, validated content and permissions, reusable SharePoint solutions, and practical automation that clients can support after handoff.

How You Will Make An Impact

  • Lead migration discovery and inventory activities across SharePoint Online, SharePoint Server, file shares, and Microsoft 365 workloads.
  • Design migration waves, mappings, schedules, validation checkpoints, rollback considerations, and cutover plans using AvePoint, ShareGate, or comparable migration tools.
  • Configure and execute migration jobs while preserving or remapping metadata, content types, versions, permissions, and information architecture as required.
  • Perform pre-migration assessments and post-migration reconciliation, including content counts, permissions, broken links, exceptions, and business-owner validation.
  • Build and deploy SPFx components using TypeScript and React; integrate Microsoft Graph, SharePoint REST APIs, and Microsoft 365 services.
  • Develop Power Apps and Power Automate solutions that extend SharePoint processes, forms, approvals, and operational workflows.
  • Contribute to Copilot Studio agents when engagements require SharePoint knowledge, Microsoft 365 actions, workflow automation, or governed content access.
  • Use PowerShell, PnP PowerShell, and repeatable scripts for configuration, migration readiness, reporting, and troubleshooting.
  • Facilitate client workshops, migration communications, demonstrations, training, and operational handoff; document architecture, mappings, risks, and runbooks.

What You Will Bring To The Table

We are looking for a professional who combines technical ownership with strong client partnership. Success requires curiosity, accountability, practical judgment, and the ability to move work forward while keeping stakeholders informed.

  • Communicate clearly with clients and internal stakeholders, including during discovery, delivery updates, risk discussions, and project handoffs.
  • Take ownership of outcomes, follow work through to completion, and escalate risks early with supporting evidence.
  • Use documentation, experimentation, and collaboration to solve unfamiliar problems rather than waiting for step-by-step direction.
  • Adapt to evolving technologies, priorities, and responsibilities while maintaining quality and security standards.
  • Contribute to a supportive engineering culture through peer reviews, knowledge sharing, and professional client interactions.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience with SharePoint Online and SharePoint migration planning, execution, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Practical experience with AvePoint, ShareGate, or comparable Microsoft 365 migration tools.
  • Hands-on experience with SPFx, TypeScript, React, Power Apps, Power Automate, Microsoft Graph, SharePoint REST APIs, PowerShell/PnP PowerShell, and Git.
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint sites, lists, libraries, content types, metadata, permissions, search, and information architecture.
  • Ability to lead client-facing discovery sessions, explain migration and security implications, manage cutover risks, and produce clear technical documentation.
  • Experience migrating from SharePoint Server, file shares, or tenant-to-tenant Microsoft 365 environments.
  • Experience with Graph permissions, app registrations, Microsoft Teams integration, and Azure Functions.
  • Experience with Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Copilot, SharePoint knowledge sources, and agent actions connected to Microsoft 365 services.
  • Predictable migrations with documented scope, mappings, validation procedures, and cutover controls.
  • Accurate content, metadata, and permission outcomes supported by evidence-based reconciliation and validation.
  • Reusable SPFx, Power Apps, and Power Automate components that can be maintained and extended over time.
  • Governed SharePoint foundations that support collaboration, automation, and Microsoft Copilot experiences.

Work Schedule: This is a client-facing role. The successful candidate will be expected to participate in client meetings, discovery sessions, demonstrations, delivery reviews, and issue-resolution discussions during the assigned shift.

Standard Shift: 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM India Standard Time (IST), equivalent to 2:30 AM to 11:30 AM Eastern Standard Time (EST). During U.S. daylight saving time, the equivalent schedule is 3:30 AM to 12:30 PM Eastern Daylight Time (EDT).
