Vaccines Specialist, Health and Science Professional

Job Description:

  • Promote the Vaccines Portfolio across customers and channels
  • Conduct regular live in-field customer engagement and virtual engagements
  • Launch new products and develop strategies for business relationships and formulary access
  • Engage in product promotion within the assigned geography
  • Drive sales and develop relationships with customers and accounts, including Therapeutic Area Specialists and Key Opinion Leaders
  • Drive sales in the assigned territory to maximize approved business objectives
  • Develop and implement business and territory call plans
  • Identify and implement live and virtual customer-engagement strategies
  • Build customer rapport and relationships in live and virtual environments
  • Use internal reports and analytics to identify, develop and implement strategic business opportunities
  • Leverage approved disease-state information and patient resources compliantly
  • Demonstrate market knowledge and uncover barriers and drivers across relevant business channels
  • Collaborate with Field Medical, Account Management and other cross-functional colleagues
  • Complete administrative requirements, including customer-call entry, expense submission and responses to sales leadership and internal partners

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in professional sales or promotional activity, small business ownership or other entrepreneurial experience, marketing, customer service and/or account management, relevant healthcare/scientific roles, educator roles, or full-time military experience
  • Alternative: associate’s degree with 6+ years of experience
  • Alternative: high school diploma (or equivalent) with 8+ years of relevant experience
  • Must live within 25 miles of the border of the territory
  • Valid US driver’s license and driving record in compliance with company standards
  • Any DUI/DWI or other impaired driving citation within the past 7 years will disqualify hiring
  • Permanent work authorization in the United States
  • Must be authorized to be employed in the U.S. by any employer
  • U.S. work visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future
  • Preferred: at least 1 year of pharmaceutical, biotech, medical sales and/or medical-related marketing experience
  • Preferred: prior vaccines experience
  • Preferred: experience with Vaccines therapeutic area and products
  • Preferred: knowledge of posted territory customers and markets
  • Preferred: residence within the territory boundaries
