Job Description:

  • Execute the technology vision, roadmap, and investment strategy across a portfolio of SaaS products
  • Lead platform modernization initiatives, including architecture simplification, cloud optimization, and AI-enabled product capabilities
  • Partner with executive leadership to evaluate technology investments, product consolidation opportunities, and strategic initiatives using clear business cases
  • Champion a service-pack strategy for delivering platform enhancements and features, including agentic plug-ins, APIs, and reporting
  • Lead engineering, quality assurance, and DevOps organizations responsible for building, securing, and operating mission-critical SaaS solutions
  • Establish best practices across software development, CI/CD, automated testing, release management, and engineering operations
  • Create and lead an AI-focused culture and delivery model to improve productivity, release reliability, quality, and efficiency
  • Lead and develop globally distributed employees and strategic technology partners
  • Manage outsourced engineering and operations partnerships
  • Lead Customer Engineering teams responsible for onboarding, implementation, integrations, and application support
  • Partner with Product, Customer Success, and Operations to improve customer adoption, retention, and satisfaction
  • Standardize implementation and support processes to accelerate time-to-value
  • Align product delivery with customer needs and business strategy
  • Own cloud operations, infrastructure performance, security, compliance, and business continuity
  • Lead PCI DSS, SOC compliance, data protection, vulnerability management, and regulatory programs
  • Drive cloud modernization through automation, Infrastructure as Code, observability, and cost optimization
  • Recruit, develop, and retain technology leaders
  • Lead workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational transformation
  • Own technology budgets, vendor relationships, and investment planning
  • Establish technical ownership, improve release predictability and operational performance, strengthen security and compliance, and launch the service-pack delivery model

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of progressive technology leadership experience, including executive-level responsibility across multiple technology functions
  • Proven experience leading software engineering, QA, cloud operations, and customer-facing technical organizations for SaaS products
  • Experience in customer-facing roles, with demonstrated success aligning product delivery to customer needs and business strategy
  • Experience managing complex, multi-product environments, including acquired or legacy platforms
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture, DevOps, CI/CD, software quality, and modern engineering practices
  • Experience leading AI adoption across the software development lifecycle, with measurable gains in engineering productivity and release reliability
  • Experience in fintech, payments, or another highly regulated industry
  • Demonstrated success leading global, distributed teams and third-party technology partners
  • Strong financial and business acumen, including budgeting, business case development, vendor management, and technology investment decisions
  • Exceptional executive communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or Business Administration is preferred
  • Experience in private equity-backed organizations and transformation environments is preferred
  • Experience applying AI and automation to both customer-facing products and engineering operations, including AI coding assistants, agentic workflows, and AI-enabled platform capabilities is preferred
  • Background in accounts payable automation, procure-to-pay, electronic invoicing, or payments platforms is preferred
  • Relevant cloud, security, or technology leadership certifications are preferred
