<p><strong>Walmart & Sam’s Club Sales Analyst</strong></p><p>Location: Minneapolis, MN | Remote with occasional business travel</p><p><strong>Position Summary</strong></p><p>• We are seeking a results-driven, customer-obsessed Walmart & Sam’s Club Sales Analyst to support our Walmart and Sam’s Club business and portfolio of consumer brands. The role combines sales analytics, retailer-system expertise, and account coordination to drive data-informed decision-making, improve sales and profitability, increase market share, and strengthen our brands as category thought leaders.</p><p>• Working closely with Sales Leadership, the Walmart & Sam’s Club Sales Analyst will translate sales, inventory, replenishment, market, and promotional data into actionable insights and recommendations that improve sales effectiveness and operational execution.</p><p>• The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to clearly communicate business opportunities, risks, and recommendations to internal teams and retail leadership.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>Data Analysis & Business Intelligence</strong></p><p>• Analyze retail performance data including sales, inventory, pricing, promotions, and merchandising to identify trends, risks, growth opportunities, and optimization initiatives; provide presentation-ready analytical support focused on business solutions.</p><p>• Conduct product, brand, market, competitor, and customer analysis using Walmart Retail Link, Scintilla, IRI/Circana, POS, and other available data sources to evaluate comparative performance and identify opportunities for growth.</p><p>• Identify and analyze weekly POS performance and trends and translate findings into recommendations that support sales, profitability, inventory productivity, pricing, promotions, and strategic initiatives.</p><p>• Plan, document, measure, and recap promotional and marketing program performance, including results, learnings, and opportunities for improvement.</p><p>• Maintain responsibility for item information and item-management activity across Walmart Retail Link and applicable Sam’s Club retailer portals.</p><p><strong>Financial Reporting & Communication</strong></p><p>• Develop and present reports, dashboards, and actionable insights that clearly communicate business performance, opportunities, and risks to Sales Leadership and other stakeholders.</p><p>• Prepare and analyze financial reporting to track performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide Finance with reporting that supports net revenue management.</p><p>• Support deduction management and administration of applicable Walmart Retail Link / VMI processes.</p><p>• Translate complex data into clear, concise recommendations and presentation-ready materials for retail and internal leadership.</p><p><strong>Collaboration & Process Improvement</strong></p><p>• Collaborate across Sales, Supply Chain, Business Development, Marketing, Vendor Relations, Customer Service, Operations, Merchandising, and Finance to share insights and implement data-driven strategies.</p><p>• Develop strong relationships with vendor and brand partners to support current business needs, future growth, and effective cross-functional execution.</p><p>• Identify opportunities to streamline reporting, processes, and workflows to improve efficiency, data accuracy, consistency, and decision-making.</p><p><strong>Project & Data-System Management</strong></p><p>• Support project planning, implementation, and operational initiatives by identifying business needs, analyzing results, measuring success, and conducting ad hoc analysis as needed.</p><p>• Maintain and improve reporting tools and data systems, ensuring information is accurate, consistent, and decision-ready.</p><p>• Leverage existing data platforms and develop new analytical methodologies to identify business opportunities, risks, and performance drivers.</p><p><strong>Skills & Qualifications</strong></p><p>• Strong analytical skills with experience in sales analysis, statistical analysis, data mining, forecasting, and translating complex data into actionable business recommendations.</p><p>• Strong data-visualization and reporting capabilities, with the ability to create compelling dashboards, reports, presentations, and executive-ready insights.</p><p>• Strong knowledge of Walmart and Sam’s Club business processes, sales and operational practices, Retail Link, Scintilla, POS reporting, and relevant retailer portals.</p><p>• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, Retail Link, Scintilla, IRI/Circana, and other relevant data-analysis and visualization tools.</p><p>• Strong business acumen, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with excellent attention to detail.</p><p>• Ability to work cross-functionally, build productive stakeholder relationships, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.</p><p>• Minimum two years of experience in business insights, data analysis, or sales analysis; bachelor’s degree in a related field.</p><p><br></p>
