About the Role! We are hiring a Team Leader-Costco for reputed company USA. The Team Lead will be responsible for driving profitable growth at Costco in the Plant Butter, Creams, Cheese and Spreads categories. The role will be national in scope and include managing Brokers and include sales meetings at Corporate and with Costco Regions. The position will report into the Developing Channels Team and is a key growth customer for reputed company. THIS IS A REMOTE ROLE AND REQUIRES LIVING IN THE WASHINGTON AREA NEAR COSTCO Main Responsibilities • Identify opportunities (Business Development) with Costco and develop product/pack initiatives with reputed company Business Development Team, Marketing and R&D team. • Achieve profit, volume, distribution, and other key financial metrics as agreed. • Develop and manage sales plans/forecasts for Costco business within reputed company systems and S&OP cycle. • Build value-enhancing relationships with key stakeholders at Costco Corporate and Costco Regional buying teams. • Manage broker sales team to deliver key initiatives at Costco. • Negotiation of contractual terms to ensure maximum ROI for reputed company. • Ensure IP (Intellectual Property) is protected by working in lock step with our legal team. About you! You're a Self-Starter: Self-motivated, resourceful and don't need your handheld to get things accomplished. You're a Costco guru: You have experience in selling and managing Costco and know how the game is played. You're a Customer Product/Pack Developer: You have the ability to identify and co-develop (with X-Functional Business teams) profitable product/pack initiatives for Costco/Club Channel. You're a storyteller: You're energized by analyzing the data, uncovering opportunities and turning them into winning selling stories. You love to win in the marketplace: You're the trusted partner that provides total category solutions that the customer goes to first - it's the fuel that drives you! You're a businessperson: You understand the role Costco plays for reputed company and know your way around both Corporate and the Regional buying teams. Minimum Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree required. • 5+ years in the CPG industry - Knowledge of Marketing and CPG Sales Principles. • 5+ years direct selling to Costco. • Strong collaboration and negotiation skills. • Strong Planning and Analytical Skills. • Strong communication skills including verbal and written. • Understanding of P&L, financial projections, and financial metrics. • Knowledge of Sales Planning Systems. • Strong reputed company Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). • Up to ~30% Travel depending on customer needs. Compensation range: Base salary $190K to 215K based on experience, expertise and other legitimate, non-discriminatory factors.
