Sr Specialist Member of Technical Staff - Process Automation & AI Solutions

This position requires office presence of a minimum of 5 days per week and is only located in the location(s) posted. No relocation is offered.

The Wireless Process Modernization & Delivery Transformation team improves how technology initiatives are delivered across wireless platforms, device certification, onboarding, operational support, and modernization programs. We partner with engineering, operations, and business teams to automate workflows, streamline processes, and deliver scalable solutions that improve efficiency and customer outcomes. This role supports automation, AI-enabled solutions, self-service platforms, application development, and process transformation initiatives. Ideal for an early-career engineer interested in software development, AI, workflow automation, and enterprise transformation.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with stakeholders to identify automation and process improvement opportunities.
  • Gather and refine business requirements, translating needs into technical solutions.
  • Design, develop, and support full-stack applications, workflows, dashboards, APIs, and integrations.
  • Build automation solutions that reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
  • Analyze existing processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement scalable improvements.
  • Support AI-enabled self-service platforms, modernization programs, and operational transformation initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues and deliver solutions.
  • Create technical documentation, process maps, and training materials.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, AI-assisted development tools, and engineering best practices.
What You'll Need
  • Understanding of full-stack development, APIs, databases, and system integrations.
  • Experience with modern technologies such as Python, React, Node.js, or TypeScript.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs, SQL, data modeling, and modern application architecture.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools and software development practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Our Sr Specialist Member of Technical Staff jobs earn between $114,300.00 - $192,100.00 USD Annual. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers.
