Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer / Architect with strong expertise in ServiceNow platform development, solution architecture, integrations, and AI-assisted development. The ideal candidate will design, develop, customize, and implement scalable ServiceNow solutions while leveraging AI-powered tools to improve development productivity, automate workflows, and enhance application quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and architect scalable ServiceNow solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
  • Develop and customize ServiceNow applications, modules, workflows, and platform components.
  • Configure and develop using JavaScript, Glide APIs, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Flow Designer.
  • Implement and enhance ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, or SPM, depending on project requirements.
  • Design and implement integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, and other enterprise integration technologies.
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, debugging, code reviews, documentation, and test generation.
  • Evaluate and implement ServiceNow AI capabilities, including Now Assist, AI Search, Virtual Agent, and generative AI features where applicable.
  • Establish development standards, reusable components, security controls, and architectural best practices.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and QA teams to deliver enterprise solutions.
  • Troubleshoot complex platform issues, optimize performance, and support deployments and upgrades.
  • Mentor developers and provide technical leadership across ServiceNow implementation projects.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of overall IT experience, with substantial hands-on ServiceNow development and architecture experience.
  • Strong expertise in ServiceNow platform architecture, application development, configuration, and customization.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide scripting, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and Flow Designer.
  • Experience with ServiceNow integrations, REST/SOAP APIs, and enterprise application connectivity.
  • Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools for coding, debugging, testing, documentation, or software delivery.
  • Understanding of ServiceNow security, ACLs, update sets, application scope, performance optimization, and deployment practices.
  • Experience leading technical design discussions and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
