Remote Whiteboard Animator Developer - Biblical & Creative Content Job Summary:

We are looking for a visionary Whiteboard Animator Developer with a passion for Scripture and storytelling to create compelling, faith-based animations. This role involves crafting whiteboard videos that bring biblical truths to life using metaphors, vivid imagery, cliffhangers, and powerful calls to action. Your animations will help audiences visualize and internalize biblical principles through engaging, educational, and spiritually enriching content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Animation Development
    • Design and produce whiteboard animations that illustrate biblical stories, teachings, and theological concepts.
    • Use storytelling techniques, metaphors, and visual analogies to simplify complex ideas.
    • Integrate power words, cliffhangers, and CTAs to drive viewer engagement and spiritual reflection.
  • Creative Scripting & Storyboarding
    • Collaborate with content writers to develop scripts that are biblically accurate and creatively compelling.
    • Translate scripts into visual storyboards that align with the tone and message of the content.
    • Incorporate bullet points, examples, and plain facts to support learning objectives.
  • Production & Editing
    • Use whiteboard animation software (e.g., VideoScribe, Doodly, Vyond, or similar) to produce high-quality videos.
    • Add voiceovers, sound effects, and background music to enhance viewer experience.
    • Ensure all content is visually cohesive, theologically sound, and emotionally resonant.
  • Collaboration & Feedback
    • Work closely with the creative teams to ensure alignment with brand and doctrinal standards.
    • Revise animations based on feedback from stakeholders and test audiences.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in whiteboard animation or explainer video production.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing storytelling, animation, and visual communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of biblical themes, narratives, and Christian worldview.
  • Proficiency in animation tools such as VideoScribe, Doodly, Vyond, or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Background in theology, Christian education, or ministry.
  • Experience with scriptwriting and storyboarding.
  • Familiarity with digital learning or discipleship tools.
  • Passion for using media to inspire, teach, and disciple others.
