Candidates will assist clients with preparing accurate tax returns while providing professional customer service. Previous tax experience is preferred but not required—training may be available. Responsibilities
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have access to a reliable laptop or desktop computer (Microsoft Windows preferred)
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid IRS PTIN (Preparer Tax Identification Number)
- Previous tax-preparation experience is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
- Basic computer and internet skills
- Ability to protect and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive taxpayer information
- Must be willing to complete required company training
- Must be able to meet company deadlines and productivity expectations
- Ability to pass any required background or compliance screening, if applicable
- Must have a professional workspace suitable for handling confidential client information
