[Remote] Sales Associate, Strategic & National

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Carrot is a global fertility and family care platform that helps employers, health plans, and health systems support members through major reproductive and family health moments. The Sales Associate, Strategic & National will identify and generate high-value opportunities for Account Executives by researching strategic and national accounts, building prospect relationships, and conducting multi-channel outreach. The role also uses AI tools to improve research, personalization, and sales workflow effectiveness.


Responsibilities

  • Sales Associates are responsible for identifying and generating high-value opportunities for our Account Executives to close
  • The SDR will become a trusted resource and develop relationships with prospects, acting as the initial point of contact
  • This role will be primarily focused on researching the Target Accounts in their territory and performing outreach through emails, calls, and LinkedIn
  • This role will have some focus on strategic and national accounts, requiring thoughtful account research, multi-threaded prospecting, and the ability to engage complex organizations
  • The ideal candidate uses AI tools thoughtfully to automate repetitive tasks, improve account research, personalize outreach, and increase the effectiveness of their sales workflow while applying sound judgment and maintaining a high-quality prospect experience

Skills

  • * A Bachelor's Degree
  • * At least one year of Sales experience (in any industry/capacity)
  • * Experience prospecting into complex, strategic, enterprise, or national accounts
  • * Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to automate tasks, improve productivity, conduct research, or enhance sales outreach
  • * Ability to think strategically about account prioritization and stakeholder engagement
  • * Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • * Clear history of diligent process and clear follow-up abilities
  • * Experience persevering despite challenges
  • * Experience with sales tools (SalesLoft/Outreach, Salesforce, SalesNav, etc.)
  • * Independent self-starter who also works well on a team
  • * Passionate about providing inclusive coverage to marginalized populations
  • * 6-9 months of experience as an SDR
  • * Professional experience in a client-facing role
  • * Professional experience in fertility, reproductive health, healthcare, employee benefits, health plans, or a related industry
