About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Remote Property Manager to oversee and optimize short-term rental operations across platforms such as Airbnb and Vrbo.

This role is ideal for someone who understands the full lifecycle of short-term rental management—from pricing strategy and booking optimization to guest experience and operational efficiency. You will play a key role in maximizing occupancy, revenue, and guest satisfaction across a portfolio of properties.

Key ResponsibilitiesProperty Operations Management
  • Manage day-to-day operations of short-term rental listings across multiple platforms
  • Oversee calendar availability, booking flow, and occupancy optimization
  • Ensure seamless coordination of check-ins, check-outs, and cleaning schedules
Pricing & Revenue Optimization
  • Implement dynamic pricing strategies to maximize revenue and occupancy
  • Analyze market trends, seasonality, and competitor performance
  • Continuously optimize listing performance and profitability
Guest Communication & Experience
  • Handle guest inquiries, bookings, and issue resolution in a timely and professional manner
  • Deliver a high-quality guest experience from pre-booking to post-stay
  • Manage reviews and maintain strong ratings across platforms
Tools & Systems Management
  • Utilize property management systems (PMS) such as Guesty or Smoobu (or similar tools)
  • Automate workflows, messaging, and operational processes where possible
  • Maintain accurate data and reporting across systems
Compliance & Best Practices
  • Ensure properties comply with local and international short-term rental regulations
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and platform policy updates
  • Implement best practices for operational efficiency and risk management
Candidate ProfileRequired Experience
  • Proven experience managing short-term rental properties (Airbnb, VRBO, or similar platforms)
  • Strong understanding of pricing optimization, calendar management, and booking workflows
  • Hands-on experience in guest communication and issue resolution
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with property management tools such as Guesty, Smoobu, or similar
  • Familiarity with international rental regulations and compliance requirements
  • Experience managing multiple properties or portfolios remotely
