Position Overview – Remote Part‑Time Cybersecurity Analyst (Network Protection Apprentice)

arenaflex is seeking motivated, detail‑oriented individuals to join our Incident Response Team as a Network Protection Apprentice. This part‑time, remote role offers a competitive rate of $25 per hour and provides a unique gateway into the fast‑growing field of cybersecurity. You will work alongside seasoned professionals, gaining hands‑on experience in threat detection, mitigation, and recovery while contributing to the safety of arenaflex’s digital ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior analysts in monitoring network traffic for suspicious activity and potential security incidents.
  • Participate in the investigation of security breaches, documenting findings, and supporting root‑cause analysis.
  • Help develop and refine incident response playbooks, ensuring they align with industry best practices and arenaflex’s internal standards.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—including IT, engineering, and compliance—to implement security controls and remediate vulnerabilities.
