Remote Interim Ramp Implementation & ERP Integration Consultant

Description

Position Title: Interim Ramp Implementation & ERP Integration Consultant (Contract)

Location: Remote (US)

Duration: Approximately 3+ Months, with Potential for Extension

Start Timing: Immediate

Company Overview

ETONIEN is supporting established businesses seeking to modernize accounts payable and finance operations through Ramp implementation and ERP integration.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on interim engagement focused on implementing Ramp Bill Pay, automating accounts payable, and integrating Ramp with an existing ERP or back-office system. The projects have an accelerated January 1 go-live target and require a consultant who can drive implementation, integration, testing, and deployment. ERP environments vary by assignment and may include PDI or Epicor CMS. Candidates do not need experience with both systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement Ramp Bill Pay, including invoice intake, approval workflows, vendor management, and payment processes.
  • Design and deliver the integration between Ramp and the client’s ERP/back-office system.
  • Map and validate vendor, invoice, GL coding, entity, and payment data between systems.
  • Implement appropriate integration methods, including APIs, middleware, or batch synchronization.
  • Lead integration testing, troubleshoot issues, and support go-live and stabilization.
  • Partner with Finance leadership and IT to resolve technical dependencies and establish sustainable processes.

Key Challenges

  • Delivering against a compressed January 1 go-live timeline.
  • Establishing an integration between Ramp and an existing ERP environment where no integration currently exists.
  • Balancing immediate implementation requirements with longer-term integration needs.
  • Working independently with Finance and IT stakeholders to drive delivery.

Requirements

Ideal Professional Profile

  • Hands-on experience implementing Ramp Bill Pay and AP automation.
  • Experience integrating ERP systems with finance, accounting, or spend-management platforms.
  • Practical knowledge of APIs, middleware, data mapping, and system integrations.
  • Strong understanding of AP processes, vendor management, GL coding, and payment workflows.
  • Experience with PDI or Epicor CMS is highly relevant; experience with both is not required.
  • Multi-entity, multi-currency, high-volume AP, or international payments experience is a plus.
  • Ability to own implementation and integration deliverables rather than provide project management alone.
  • Available to start immediately.

Work Environment

The engagement is fast-paced and delivery-focused, with direct collaboration across Finance and IT. The consultant must be comfortable working independently, navigating technical dependencies, and delivering against a fixed go-live deadline. Additional project work may be available following the initial implementation.

Compensation

Wide range of factors are considered in making compensation decisions. Exact compensation may vary based on factors including skills, experience, certification, license and location. A reasonable estimate of current compensation range is: $60-$100/hr.
