[Remote] Global Revenue Operations Analytics: Data Analyst Intern
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Seagate Technology is a data storage and technology company with a Global Revenue Operations Analytics team supporting Sales through analytics, automation, and data-driven decision-making. The Data Analyst Intern will modernize analytics experiences, develop dashboard and Power BI solutions, analyze enterprise data, and deliver actionable insights for business stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand how key reports and datasets are used to support decision-making
- Conduct business requirements gathering sessions to identify gaps, opportunities, and enhancement areas within existing reporting solutions
- Explore enterprise datasets and identify opportunities for deeper analysis, improved visualization, and enhanced business storytelling
- Design and develop interactive Static HTML dashboard prototypes to rapidly validate visualization concepts and user experiences
- Gather stakeholder feedback and iterate on dashboard designs to improve usability and business value
- Convert validated dashboard concepts into enterprise-ready Power BI solutions
- Develop and maintain reporting, metrics, KPIs, and analytics supporting Seagate's Go-To-Market (GTM) functions
- Analyze customer demand patterns, market conditions, product performance, forecasting signals, operational metrics, and business trends to identify actionable insights
- Create executive-ready visualizations and presentations that effectively communicate findings to leadership
- Partner with Business Intelligence and IT teams to support report modernization and migration initiatives
- Perform data validation and ensure data integrity, consistency, and quality across reporting solutions
- Support key analytics, reporting, and business transformation initiatives aligned with corporate objectives
- Engage with enterprise systems including Microsoft 365, Fabric, Power BI, Power Query, SAP, Salesforce, Business Objects, and other analytics platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across Sales, Account Management, Sales Operations, Business Operations, Product Management, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Support, Marketing, and IT

- Expertise with Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, Pivot Tables, Pivot Charts), Power Suite (Power Automate, Power Query, PowerBI), Copilot Studio, AgentBuilder, Graph APIs, Fabric, and other Microsoft 365 tools
- Proven proficiency with business intelligence and/or ETL analysis tools
- Proven proficiency with open-source software and/or scripting (e.g., Python, VBA)
- Experience with training LLM Agents/Copilot and/or ML/AI Ops
- Current student pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Science, Business or Data Analytics, Business Information Systems, Informatics, or similar fields, and returning to school in fall 2027
