REMOTE - Associate Director - National Deposits Group HOA/PMC Business Development Officer

<strong>Description<br><br></strong>The Associate Director - National Deposits Group HOA/PMC Business Development Officer will drive the development of new business through the sale of proprietary products and services, escrow, and treasury management products. The success of these efforts will be measured by the growth of lower cost balances and fees for services. This Business Development Officer role for National Deposits is responsible for the prospecting, lead generation, acquisition of new business and the maintenance and growth of key relationships. These may be new or existing relationships to Huntington.<br><br><strong>Major Areas Of Accountability<br><br></strong><em><strong>Strategic Execution</strong></em>: Develop a high-impact, results oriented sales strategy and roadmap that leads to new business growth and deepens relationships with the National Deposits segments of clients in need of best-in-class deposit and treasury management products and services.<br><br><em><strong>Sales & Marketing</strong></em> – Contribute to and execute on the development of the go-to-market-strategy and playbook to drive new customer and deposit generation. Differentiate the business through deep knowledge of our services, the industry and market areas served. Keep abreast of current client trends, including the development of technology and other service needs in the market to further advance our competitive advantage and stay ahead of customers' needs.<br><br><em><strong>Optimal Customer Relationship</strong></em> - Identify opportunities to actively cross-sell all banking products and services as appropriate. Presents and participates in creative solutions to meet customers' needs. Manages customer and prospect relationships, refer sales partners or other associates as appropriate to carry sales relationships to completion.<br><br><em><strong>Process & Policy Creation</strong></em>: Work across the bank to create and continue to refine well-documented, repeatable, and scalable sales processes that drive business growth and customer experience while keeping the bank safe and compliant with all banking regulations and state laws.<br><br><strong>Basic Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree or over 5 years of business experience including new business development and prospecting</li><li>5 or more years in deposit based/treasury products/cash management/escrows/virtual accounts or segment specific client management<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Preferred Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Experience with prospecting and business development that leads to stable deposits, treasury management fees, and other bank product revenue from several select industries including</li><li>Experienced and disciplined user of CRM systems</li><li>Excellent communication, organization and presentation skills, particularly as it relates to customers.<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>Exempt Status: (Yes</strong> = not eligible for overtime pay) (<strong>No</strong> = eligible for overtime pay)<br><br>Yes<br><br><strong>Workplace Type<br><br></strong>Remote<br><br>Our Approach to <strong>Office </strong>Workplace Type<br><br>Certain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement.
