Regional Manager (International) at University of Cambridge

<p>The University of Cambridge is recruiting a dynamic Regional Manager to support the Student Recruitment and Marketing team in the East Asia region within the Student Admissions and Access Office. The initial contract for this role is until July 31, 2025. The main responsibilities of this role include developing and implementing student recruitment initiatives in East Asia, building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, and providing support to prospective undergraduate and postgraduate applicants. Additionally, the Regional Manager will collaborate with the team on non-regionally focused projects and share best practices with University Departments to enhance their postgraduate recruitment efforts. International travel for up to 12 weeks per year is required. The International Student Recruitment team is a friendly and dedicated group that organizes various recruitment events and initiatives to encourage applications to Cambridge. The team engages with prospective students, their parents, and guidance counsellors and manages important relationships. There will be opportunities to contribute to cross-team projects as well. The ideal candidate for this role should have experience in student recruitment or student services in an educational setting. They must be able to manage their workload independently while also working effectively as part of a team. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential, along with cultural awareness and an understanding of the challenges faced by international students.
