Responsibilities

  • Engage with gym members and visitors to promote personal training services and group fitness programs.
  • Assess clients’ fitness needs through conversations, body mechanics analysis, and understanding their health backgrounds.
  • Educate potential clients on the benefits of personalized training, program design, and sports coaching techniques.
  • Develop tailored fitness plans that incorporate physiology, anatomy knowledge, and effective exercise techniques.
  • Drive sales by building rapport, demonstrating value, and guiding clients through the enrollment process for personal training packages.
  • Collaborate with trainers and staff to ensure seamless delivery of fitness programs and exceptional member experiences.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of fitness trends, health club offerings, and new training methodologies to better serve clients.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of physiology, anatomy, and body mechanics essential for effective program design.
  • Proven experience in personal training, group fitness instruction, or teaching physical education is highly desirable.
  • Excellent sales skills with the ability to communicate the value of fitness services persuasively.
  • Knowledge of sports coaching principles and ability to motivate diverse client groups.
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and maintain positive relationships with members and staff alike.
  • Prior experience working in a gym or health club environment preferred.
