Personal Trainer Putney SW15

ABOUT ME-TIME FITNESS CLUB

Me-Time Fitness Club is a premium, members only fitness club in the heart of Putney, SW15 2NN, built exclusively for adults over 40 and over 65.

We are not a gym. We are a coached community. Our members come to us because they are serious about their health, fed up with one-size-fits-all fitness, and want to be coached by people who understand their bodies and their lives.

Our sessions are small (maximum 12 people), our coaching is personal, and our members stay, because it works, and because they belong here.

THE ROLE

We are looking for an exceptional Personal Trainer to join our team from 1 October 2026.

This is not a standard PT role. You will coach, consult, create content, and become a genuine part of what makes Me-Time work. Our ideal candidate is someone who loves coaching adults in their 40s, 50s, and 60s and beyond, takes nutrition seriously as a discipline, and is comfortable in front of a camera.

Coaching hours are spread across the week, including one Saturday morning per month, with opportunities for additional hours through cover and overtime as the role develops.

This role suits someone who is embedded in the local SW London fitness community, wants to build a real career in a quality environment, and genuinely cares about making a difference to people over 40.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Coaching (10 sessions per week):
  • Run small-group personal training sessions for our Over 40s and Seniors (65+) programmes
  • Deliver sessions that are challenging, safe, and tailored to the needs of an older adult population
  • Provide hands-on technique correction throughout every session
  • Build genuine relationships with members, knowing their names, goals, and progress
  • Cover sessions at short notice when needed (local proximity is essential for this)
  • Rotate Saturday sessions 1 in 4 weeks, same as the rest of the team
Admin and content (10 hours per week):
  • Conduct 1-2-1 member inductions including InBody body composition assessment, goal setting, and initial nutrition plan
  • Run 15-minute member check-ins (week 3 and week 6 of their programme, and ongoing)
  • Film content for our Instagram and Facebook (Reels, Stories, member features), our editor handles post-production
  • Plan monthly content calendar in coordination with the team
  • Contribute articles, cheat sheets, and exercise videos to our member app
  • Contribute to our monthly member newsletter
  • Attend fortnightly team meeting and training
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Qualifications (non-negotiable):
  • Level 3 Personal Training certificate minimum, Level 4 preferred
  • Formal nutrition qualification: Level 4 Sports Nutrition, degree-level, or equivalent. An online nutrition certificate is not sufficient for this role.
  • First Aid certified (or willing to certify before starting)
  • Insured or willing to be covered through us
Experience:
  • Proven coaching experience working with adults 40+, not just willing to adapt, but someone who genuinely enjoys and excels with this demographic
  • Specific experience with Seniors (65+): pace, mobility, confidence, safe exercise selection for older adults
  • Experienced with coaching small groups
  • Comfortable running 1-2-1 consultations, body composition assessments, and nutrition check-ins, not just group sessions
  • Local to SW London and genuinely able to provide short-notice cover when needed
The person:
  • Warm and engaged, the kind of coach who gravitates toward members between sessions, not just during them
  • Natural on camera, comfortable filming yourself and being filmed. This is something we will assess at interview.
  • Organised and proactive, you plan content ahead, bring ideas, and don't need to be chased
  • Reliable: our members depend on familiar faces and consistent coaching
  • Supportive and inclusive in tone, language, and approach at all times

Salary: £17,000 – £19,200 per year (pro rata), with progression. OTE £25,000–£37,000 including revenue share.
