Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and offer knowledgeable assistance to enhance their shopping experience
  • Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Conduct engaging product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to customers
  • Assist with stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining an attractive store layout
  • Upsell products by identifying customer needs and recommending additional items or upgrades
  • Handle cash register operations, including cash handling, cash drawer management, and basic math calculations
  • Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
  • Support merchandising efforts by ensuring products are well-displayed and inventory levels are maintained
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction
  • Assist in supervising new team members or interns when needed, fostering a collaborative environment
  • Learn and do Permanent Jewelry heat press and assist with our DIY bars. Assist during busy times with some coffee/soda drinks

Requirements

  • Prior retail sales experience or grocery store experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm is key!
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers in bilingual settings is a plus
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations confidently
  • Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is advantageous
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service with professional phone etiquette
  • Experience in merchandising, stock management, or product demos enhances your fit for this role
  • Supervising experience is a bonus but not required; a proactive attitude and willingness to learn are essential
  • Ability to stand, walk, and move around the store for extended periods while maintaining energy and focus
