Part-Time Email Developer (Salesforce Marketing Cloud)

We’re searching for a skilled Email Developer to join a digital team on a part-time, remote basis.

This role starts on a temporary contract with the view to becoming permanent, offering the chance to contribute to impactful campaigns for a variety of consumer-facing brands. If you enjoy working with the backend of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and want to shape smarter, more personalised customer experiences, this could be a strong fit.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Building and maintaining email campaigns and automated journeys within Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Using Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Email Studio to deliver seamless customer flows
  • Writing AMPscript and SQL queries to power personalisation and data-driven messaging
  • Ensuring data quality, GDPR compliance, and deliverability standards are upheld
  • Connecting Marketing Cloud with Salesforce CRM and other platforms to streamline processes
  • Acting as a client-facing consultant – daily contact with clients, advising on best practices, and recommending upcoming Salesforce Marketing Cloud features
  • Acting as a technical resource for marketing teams, providing guidance and support where needed

About you:

  • Hands-on experience as an Email Developer in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of automation tools, scripting, and data segmentation
  • Solid experience integrating Marketing Cloud with Salesforce CRM systems
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Detail-oriented with good understanding of compliance and data management
  • Retail industry experience would be a plus
  • Salesforce certifications are highly desirable
