Overview

We’re looking for a passionate and commercially minded Online Trading Admin Assistant to join our International team at M&S. In this role, you’ll help drive profitable growth across our Clothing & Home (C&H) Marketplaces by supporting the effective planning, selling, and trading of a global product range. You’ll play a key role in supporting international sales and profitability — for M&S and our Marketplace partners. Collaborating closely with Trading teams, you’ll champion an international mindset across the business to ensure the needs of our global customers and partners are met.

What you will be doing

  • Support the International Clothing & Home Marketplace team in delivering a product strategy that drives sales and aligns with the overall International growth plan.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Planning, Trading, and Supply Chain teams to ensure accurate SKU-level product data, intake planning, and timely delivery to marketplace partners.
  • Ensure product and buying information accuracy, maintaining partner portals and supporting smooth, efficient ordering processes across global marketplaces.
  • Analyse sales and stock performance to inform assortment, sizing, and volume decisions that maximise sales, profit, and growth opportunities.
  • Support trading performance and continuous improvement, tracking product and logistics updates and contributing to lessons-learned actions for future seasonal success.

Who you are

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, track performance, and use insights to drive sales and future growth.
  • Advanced Excel user, confident in managing and analysing data across multiple systems including IBT, PLM, Power BI, and SAP.
  • Excellent communicator and collaborator, skilled in building strong relationships with Marketplace partners, Supply Chain, Online, and International teams.
  • Highly organised and proactive, thriving in a fast-paced, agile team environment and demonstrating a positive, solution-focused approach.
  • Commercially aware with a strong product affinity, understanding critical path management and how to optimise product performance across global marketplaces.
