Office Administrator
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable, organized, and personable Office Administrator to support our bookkeeping and day-to-day office operations. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable working with numbers and Microsoft applications, and enjoys interacting professionally with customers, vendors, and team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage bookkeeping activities, including invoices, payments, receipts, and account records.
- Process and organize financial documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a professional and friendly manner.
- Respond to emails and communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and employees.
- Provide general administrative and office support as needed.
- Enter and maintain information accurately in company systems and spreadsheets.
- Use Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and other Microsoft tools as required.
- Assist with follow-up on outstanding invoices and payments.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle company and financial information with discretion.
- Perform other administrative and accounting-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous bookkeeping experience preferred.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional and friendly people skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
- Comfortable answering phones and handling multiple tasks.
- Proficient with email and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently while also being a team player.
- Dependable, professional, and willing to learn.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
