Media Planner

We are seeking a Media Planner based in Los Angeles to support a portfolio of performing arts centers, Broadway tours, museums, and cultural institutions across the country.<br><br>This role is ideal for someone with deep paid social and paid search experience, strong cross-channel planning instincts, and a working understanding of programmatic buying across display, CTV, streaming audio, and DOOH.<br><br>You'll play a key role in developing media strategies that drive ticket sales, audience growth, and campaign performance for major theatre and cultural partners in the Los Angeles region. You will work closely with Account Directors, Media leadership, Data & Insights, SEO, and Media Specialists to deliver high-impact, performance-driven campaigns.<br><br><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong>Media Strategy & Planning<br><br><ul><li>Develop cross-channel media strategies rooted in performance KPIs while supporting occasional brand-building initiatives</li><li>Build data-driven media plans across paid social, search, display, CTV, streaming audio, and DOOH</li><li>Conduct audience, market, and competitive research to inform targeting, channel mix, and budget allocation</li><li>Partner with Account Directors to translate client goals into cohesive, measurable media strategies<br><br></li></ul>Campaign Execution<br><br><ul><li>Manage end-to-end campaign setup, optimization, pacing, and QA across:</li><ul><li>Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads</li></ul><li>Support programmatic planning and activation across platforms such as DV360, MNTN, and StackAdapt</li><li>Implement creative testing plans, audience segmentation, and bid strategies to maximize ROI<br><br></li></ul>Performance Analysis & Reporting<br><br><ul><li>Monitor campaign performance and proactively identify insights, trends, and optimizations</li><li>Build clear, concise reports using SINE's custom reporting app and, when needed, bespoke Looker Studio dashboards</li><li>Present findings to clients with an emphasis on translating complex data into actionable next steps<br><br></li></ul>Cross-Functional Collaboration<br><br><ul><li>Work closely with Client Team, Data & Insights, SEO, and Media Specialists to deliver integrated, insight-led campaign recommendations</li><li>Contribute to strategic planning, seasonal forecasting, and creative/media alignment</li><li>Help strengthen SINE's West Coast presence through thoughtful client service and high-quality delivery<br><br></li></ul>Industry Knowledge<br><br><ul><li>Maintain and develop an advanced understanding of the industries you and SINE work with, including key players and external agencies</li><li>Produce regular industry insights and client case studies to further educate the team and clients on industry learnings, insights and benchmarks</li><li>Establish and develop relationships with US media owners</li><li>Keep abreast of changes in the California and broader US media landscape</li><li>Embody a passion for the sectors in which SINE operates, with a professional curiosity and knowledge of new and emerging businesses and producing talent</li><li>Represent SINE at various industry conferences and events, building the company's presence and network</li><li>Participate in internal training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives to foster team expertise<br><br></li></ul><strong>About You<br><br></strong><ul><li>5+ years of hands-on experience in paid media planning and activation, ideally across multiple digital channels</li><li>Expert knowledge of Meta, Google Ads, and TikTok Ads, with working familiarity in DV360, MNTN, and StackAdapt</li><li>Strong understanding of best practices across display, CTV, streaming audio, and DOOH</li><li>Exceptional client-facing communication and presentation skills</li><li>Strong analytical skills and comfort working with campaign data and performance metrics</li><li>Able to distill data into simple, meaningful insights and next steps</li><li>Highly organized, resourceful, and comfortable managing multiple campaigns simultaneously</li><li>Passion for arts, entertainment, and live experiences is a plus<br><br></li></ul><strong>Benefits<br><br></strong><ul><li>$70,000- $90,000, dependent on experience</li><li>Generous PTO allowance per year</li><li>Access to 401(K) Retirement Plan</li><li>Access to Company subsidised healthcare and dental care</li><li>Occasional free tickets to live events</li><li>Structured personal development, a customised training program and opportunities to attend industry conferences</li><li>Opportunities to help further shape the business culture and agency benefits<br><br></li></ul><strong>LOCATION<br><br></strong>This role is based in the Los Angeles, California area.<br><br>Initially, this position will be fully remote.
