iOS QA Tester (USA) — Validate Live Subscription Checkout on Real iPhone (Reimbursed)

About the role

I'm the developer of a live iOS study app. I need a US-based QA tester to validate that the subscription checkout flow completes correctly on a real iPhone — from the upgrade screen through to unlocked access. This is standard functional QA of my own app's payment pipeline. ~20 minutes.

Validating the checkout requires one real transaction ($12.99/month). You'll be fully reimbursed for the $12.99 plus your fee, paid through Upwork — the cost is entirely on me.

Steps to validate

Install the app from the US App Store (link below) on your real iPhone.

Open the upgrade screen and confirm the $12.99/month price displays correctly.

Complete the subscription checkout with your own Apple ID (the real transaction).

Confirm the app unlocks Pro access.

Test "Restore Purchases."

Turn off auto-renew / cancel immediately (I'll give exact steps) so it never renews.

Important: If the upgrade screen shows no price or no products (blank or endless spinner), that is a valid, important QA result — screen-record it and report it. Don't force anything.

Deliverables

A screen recording of the full flow: upgrade screen → price → checkout confirmation → Pro unlocked → auto-renew cancelled.

Your Apple receipt email (personal details may be redacted) as proof.

A short note: Did the price display? Did Pro unlock? Any errors, blank screens, or delays?

Payment (all through Upwork)

$12.99 reimbursement + $8 for your time, released after you deliver the recording + receipt.

Requirements

Located in the USA, with a US App Store account and a working payment method on your Apple ID.

A real iPhone — please share your iPhone model and iOS version.

Note: This is functional QA only. I will not ask for any App Store review, rating, or ranking activity.
