In this role, you will apply real-world investment banking expertise to help train next-generation AI systems through high-quality financial analysis, transaction insights, and expert evaluation. No prior AI experience is required—your investment banking expertise is what matters.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Conduct comprehensive company and industry research to support financial analysis and AI training initiatives.</li><li>Perform and review buyer and target screening, comparable company analysis, and financial modeling.</li><li>Build, update, and troubleshoot detailed Excel-based valuation and transaction models.</li><li>Ensure financial models are methodologically accurate, logically consistent, and well-structured.</li><li>Prepare and edit client-facing materials, including pitchbooks and transaction presentation materials.</li><li>Analyze transaction scenarios and clearly communicate strategic rationale and key deal considerations.</li><li>Review sample financial and presentation materials for numerical errors, weak strategic reasoning, and unclear logic.</li><li>Provide actionable feedback to improve the quality and accuracy of analytical outputs.</li><li>Explain accounting treatments, valuation adjustments, deal sensitivities, and key financial assumptions.</li><li>Deliver clear written and verbal explanations of complex financial concepts to diverse audiences.</li></ul><p><strong>Required Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Strong professional experience in investment banking, M&A, industry coverage, or financial advisory.</li><li>Substantial hands-on experience with live acquisition or sale processes.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in Excel-based financial modeling.</li><li>Strong understanding of valuation methodologies, comparable company analysis, and transaction analysis.</li><li>Experience conducting company and industry research and target screening.</li><li>Experience preparing and reviewing pitchbooks and client-facing transaction materials.</li><li>Strong analytical review and problem-solving abilities.</li><li>Ability to identify quantitative inaccuracies, weak assumptions, and strategic weaknesses.</li><li>Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.</li></ul><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Experience as a Senior Associate or Vice President within an M&A or industry-coverage team.</li><li>Background at a leading investment bank, established M&A boutique, or sector-focused advisory firm.</li><li>Third-year Senior Associate experience is particularly relevant.</li><li>Proven track record supporting li</li></ul><p><br></p>
