Williamsburgh Housing Association is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to join our Culture and Assurance Team as an HR Officer and part of our newly established Culture and Assurance team. This role has been strengthened following a recent review of our services, ensuring we have the right capacity, skills and focus to support our people, culture and organisational development.The role is 35 hours per week, however we would consider 28 hours.
As a People and Culture Officer, you’ll play a central role in delivering high quality HR support across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, wellbeing, policy development and day to day HR operations. You’ll work closely with managers and colleagues across WHA to provide responsive, person centred HR services that help staff feel supported, valued and able to thrive.

About the Role
This is a varied and rewarding role supporting all aspects of HR and organisational development. You’ll assist with recruitment campaigns, coordinate onboarding, maintain HR systems, support wellbeing initiatives, and help managers navigate HR processes confidently and consistently.You’ll also contribute to policy reviews, support investigations, prepare HR documentation, and ensure accurate, timely information is available to managers and the Head of Culture & Assurance. The role offers excellent exposure to HR practice within a supportive, modernising organisation.
Who We're Looking for
We’re looking for someone who CIPD qualified, is organised, confident working with people and able to manage a busy and varied workload. Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a calm, professional approach are essential.You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy helping others, building strong working relationships and contributing to a supportive workplace culture.
