Home Services Podcast Host & Business Development Executive<p>Remote | Full-Time or Contract + Performance Compensation</p><p><br></p><p>Service MVP and OptionBuilder AI are looking for an engaging, curious, sales-minded professional to host our Home Service Heartbeat Podcast and turn great conversations into business relationships.</p><p><br></p><p>This isn't a traditional podcast-hosting job and it isn't a traditional sales job. It's a combination of both.</p><p><br></p>How It Works<p>We invite owners and leaders of home-service companies -HVAC, plumbing, electrical, drain/sewer and other residential service businesses - to appear on the Home Service Heartbeat Podcast.</p><p><br></p><p>Our guests receive a professionally produced podcast they can share on their website and social media. We get the opportunity to meet interesting home-service business owners, learn about their companies and introduce them to what we do.</p><p><br></p><p>We're completely transparent about that relationship. Guests know that the podcast is also one of the ways Service MVP and OptionBuilder AI meet prospective clients.</p><p>Your job is to make both sides of that experience exceptional.</p><p><br></p>What You'll Do<p>You'll host conversational podcast interviews with home-service owners and leaders.</p><p>You'll ask thoughtful questions, uncover what makes their company different, learn about their goals and challenges, and create an interview they're genuinely excited to share.</p><p><br></p><p>During that conversation, you'll also listen for opportunities where Service MVP coaching and training or OptionBuilder AI could help.</p><p><br></p><p>When there's a fit, you'll naturally transition the conversation into a Service MVP tour, an OptionBuilder demonstration, or a combination of the two. You'll then own the sales opportunity and follow-up through the appropriate next steps.</p><p><br></p>We're Looking for Someone Who...<ul><li>Is naturally curious and genuinely enjoys talking with business owners.</li><li>Is comfortable on camera and can lead an engaging conversation without sounding scripted.</li><li>Has strong consultative sales skills.</li><li>Can recognize a business problem and connect it to an appropriate solution.</li><li>Is comfortable demonstrating software and explaining coaching/training services.</li><li>Can move naturally from an interview conversation into a business conversation without making the guest feel like they were tricked into a sales call.</li><li>Follows up consistently and knows how to move an opportunity toward a decision.</li><li>Understands that relationships come before pitches.</li><li>Home-service industry experience is strongly preferred.</li><li>Experience selling to HVAC, plumbing, electrical or other residential service contractors is especially valuable.</li><li>Podcasting experience is helpful, but we care more about your ability to have great conversations and create business relationships.</li></ul><p><br></p>What You'll Be Representing<p>Service MVP helps home-service companies improve leadership, customer service, communication, sales performance and the customer experience through coaching and training.</p><p><br></p><p>OptionBuilder AI helps field-service professionals quickly create and present multiple repair, service and replacement options to homeowners.</p><p><br></p><p>You'll be trained in both solutions and in the Home Service Heartbeat interview-to-opportunity process.</p><p><br></p>This Role May Be Perfect for You If...<p>You've ever thought:</p><p><em>"I'm great at sales, but I hate cold pitching."</em></p><p><em>"I love talking to business owners and figuring out what makes their companies tick."</em></p><p><em>"I'd rather earn someone's trust through a great conversation than read a sales script."</em></p><p><em>"I know the home-service industry and can talk comfortably with contractors."</em></p><p>Then we'd like to meet you.</p><p><br></p>How to Apply<p>Don't just send us a résumé.</p><p>Send us a short video introducing yourself and answering these three questions:</p><ol><li>What experience do you have with the home-service industry?</li><li>Tell us about something you've successfully sold and how you sold it.</li><li>If you were interviewing the owner of an HVAC company, what would you ask them to get them talking?</li></ol><p>We aren't looking for a polished audition.
