I’m working with a top-tier Legal 500 firm that’s looking to appoint a Non-Contentious Construction Associate to its thriving Real Estate and Projects Group. With 5–8 years’ PQE under your belt, you\'ll play a pivotal role advising on high-value, strategically significant projects across a range of sectors — from energy and infrastructure to life sciences and commercial developments.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Contract Expertise – Drafting and negotiating a wide range of standard form and bespoke construction and engineering agreements (JCT, NEC3/4, FIDIC, EPC, EPCM, FEED, etc.).
  • Project Advisory – Advising on procurement strategies, risk mitigation, and overall project execution from planning to completion.
  • Sector-Spanning Work – Supporting real estate and infrastructure developments across commercial, residential, energy, and public sector projects.
  • Client-Facing Delivery – Collaborating with sponsors, developers, funders, and contractors to deliver tailored legal solutions.
  • Practice Growth – Supporting wider team objectives and contributing to business development initiatives.

What They’re Looking For

  • UK-qualified solicitor with 5–8 years’ PQE in non-contentious construction law.
  • Proven track record of advising on complex projects and drafting associated legal documentation.
  • Deep understanding of procurement processes and project risk.
  • Client-focused with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A self-starter who thrives both independently and within a collaborative team.
