The role combines business analysis, product discovery, business architecture and hands-on prototyping to turn ambiguous problems into tangible solutions that business users and engineers can test and refine together.   Successful candidates will combine the structured thinking of a business analyst, the prioritization instincts of a product owner, the enterprise perspective of a business architect and the bias to action of a hands-on builder.   Your responsibilities In every role at BlackRock, you'll be expected to apply sound judgement and critical thinking to solve complex problems, adapt as the business evolves, and combine the curiosity to explore new approaches and technologies with the rigor to challenge the results. The scope of this role also includes the following responsibilities: Take ownership of complex, ambiguous business problems and rapidly translate them into testable solution hypotheses with measurable outcomes. Build structured business context covering terminology, entities, relationships, decision logic, data dependencies, controls and exceptions for use by subject matter experts, AI tools and engineering teams. Decompose business processes into explicit logic, controls and exception paths for implementation by technology teams. Create functional prototypes using AI-enabled development capabilities to discover requirements, challenge assumptions and validate future-state processes, data, policies and controls. Shape the target operating model, including ownership of data, governance, controls, roles and exception management. Partner continuously with business experts, product managers, engineers, architects, data specialists and control partners from discovery through implementation. Develop measurable project objectives, drive consensus, and communicate plans, progress and outcomes effectively to stakeholders and management across levels.   Your experience 3–5 years of relevant work experience in transformation, product delivery, business architecture, technology-enabled change or a comparable discipline. Experience in business architecture and operating-model design, connecting solutions to business capabilities, roles, governance, policy ownership, controls and exception handling. Proficiency in prototype-led problem solving and rapidly converting ambiguous business problems into functional prototypes that stakeholders can see, test and challenge. Expertise using AI-enabled development environments to accelerate analysis, prototyping, requirements definition and testing, including critically evaluating generated outputs, maintaining traceability and understanding where human judgment remains essential. Experience with iterative delivery and hands-on ownership through cycles of analysis, experimentation and solution shaping. Experience in financial services or a similar industry.   Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate objectives and influence outcomes For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$105,000.00 - USD$137,500.00 .
