Duties

  • Assist experienced electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on construction sites and commercial facilities
  • Learn to read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams accurately
  • Use hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and other testing equipment safely and effectively
  • Perform conduit bending, electrical wiring, and low voltage system installations following NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards
  • Follow strict electrical safety procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment
  • Support the installation of electrical systems including lighting, outlets, panels, and control systems in compliance with NEC regulations
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized work area while adhering to construction site safety standards

Requirements

  • Prior experience or familiarity with industrial or commercial electrical work is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, ohmmeters, and conduit benders
  • Ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics accurately
  • Understanding of electrical safety procedures and adherence to safety protocols on job sites
  • Strong interest in developing skills related to electrical wiring, systems installation, and troubleshooting
  • Construction site experience is advantageous but not mandatory; candidates must be comfortable working in active construction environments
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive attitude towards learning and teamwork
