E‑Commerce & Publishing Virtual Assistant

to partner with our US‑based clients. This role is perfect for someone who loves juggling multiple projects, thrives on precision, and enjoys the creative side of digital product management.

Key Responsibilities

As a Virtual Assistant at brighthush, you’ll be the backbone of our clients’ e‑commerce and publishing operations. Your day‑to‑day tasks will include:

    Etsy Shop Management

    • Create, edit, and optimize digital product listings – titles, tags, descriptions, and images.
    • Upload digital files and maintain a clean, organized shop inventory.
    • Conduct keyword and competitor research, compiling findings into clear, actionable spreadsheets.

      Amazon KDP Publishing Support

      • Assist with manuscript formatting and set up book listings on Amazon KDP.
      • Upload interior and cover files, ensuring they meet KDP’s specifications.
      • Enter metadata (titles, subtitles, keywords, categories) and verify accuracy using the KDP Previewer.

        ARC Program Management

        • Post ARC recruitment calls in relevant reader groups and communities.
        • Track reader sign‑ups, book distribution, and review status in detailed spreadsheets.
        • Send review copies, schedule reminder emails, and follow up with ARC participants.

          Newsletter & Email List Management

          • Maintain reader‑club email lists linked to QR codes in published books.
          • Deliver free bonus materials to new subscribers and manage subscription workflows.
          • Prepare launch announcements, ARC invitations, and coordinate newsletter swaps with authors in similar niches.
          • Draft all emails for client approval before distribution.

            Research & Administrative Support

            • Conduct competitor, keyword, and product research across Amazon, Etsy, and niche forums.
            • Organize research findings in Google Sheets and Google Docs.
            • Maintain a tidy digital filing system and prepare concise weekly reports.

            Essential Qualifications

            • Proven experience managing Etsy shops or similar e‑commerce platforms.
            • Hands‑on knowledge of Amazon KDP publishing workflows.
            • Strong research and administrative skills, with a keen eye for detail.
            • Excellent written and spoken English communication.
            • Proficiency in Google Sheets and Google Docs.
            • Ability to follow detailed SOPs and work independently.
            • Strong organizational skills and the capacity to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.

            Preferred Qualifications & Tools

            • Experience with Canva for creating high‑quality product images.
            • Familiarity with BookBeam, BookSignal, and BookFunnel for ARC and distribution management.
            • Knowledge of MailerLite for email list management and automation.
            • Exposure to Amazon Ads for basic advertising support.
            • Experience with HeyGen or similar AI‑video creation tools.
            • Understanding of SEO best practices for Amazon and Etsy listings.
