Delivery Driver/Warehouse Assistant

We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver and Warehouse Assistant. Position Overview: As a Delivery Driver and Warehouse Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operations of our distribution process. You will be responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of wines to our clients while also assisting in warehouse tasks to maintain an organized and efficient storage environment. Responsibilities: - Safely and punctually deliver wine and spirit orders to our clients. - Ensure accurate order fulfillment by cross-referencing delivery orders with the products loaded onto the delivery vehicle. - Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, building positive relationships with clients. - Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling of fragile items. - Help with general warehouse tasks, including receiving, shelving, and organizing inventory. - Participate in regular inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels. - Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety guidelines. - Collaborate with the logistics team to optimize delivery routes and schedules. - Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report any issues to the appropriate team. Qualifications: - Valid driver's license and clean driving record. - Ability to safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment. - Excellent communication and customer service skills. - Physical ability to lift and carry heavy boxes, climb stairs, and perform manual labor. - Previous experience in delivery, warehouse, or logistics is a plus. - Familiarity with the local area and routes is an advantage.
