Contingency Fedex Driver (currently badged and active at Fedex, logged into scanner in last 30 days)

Job Summary

Seeking only active fedex ground drivers. Must have signed into scanner in the last 30 days.

We are seeking reliable and dedicated Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidates will be badged and active in fedex, with a minimum of 1 year contingency experience. Team oriented only apply. Willing to work long days to get the job done. 6 day work weeks availability.

We pay a premium and expect premium work ethic. Need drivers to start this week. Travel will be reimbursed, lodging paid, as well as paid per diem per week. Ipads with groundcloud will be provided for each route.

Will be running out of penskes, some with some without shelves. Good organization in the truck is a must.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a box truck or similar vehicle for deliveries and pickups.
  • Load and unload cargo efficiently and safely, utilizing equipment such as pallet jacks.
  • Follow designated routes for delivery while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
  • Ensure all packages are delivered and picked up on time and come back to station with a clean truck daily.
  • Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients and recipients.
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
  • Experience
  • experience as a FedEx delivery driver within the last 30 days is a must.
  • Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices.
  • Contingency experience preferred
  • Strong ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as required by the job.
  • Proven skills in route driving with a focus on efficiency and punctuality.
