Collections Representative, Bilingual French
Job Description:
- Determine the root cause of aging invoices using problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Leverage system functionality and established processes to resolve aging invoices
- Work within established procedures and adhere to quality guidelines
- Escalate complex issues to senior team members and/or leadership
- Contribute ideas for process improvement
- Develop professional relationships with internal and external customers
- Maintain open lines of communication and build rapport through timely, professional service
- Investigate account issues and respond to customer inquiries
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve invoice disputes and improve payment outcomes
- Continue developing collections-process skills and knowledge
- Perform other duties according to team and/or country-specific requirements
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of collections, cash applications, credit, accounts payable or related finance experience
- Bilingual French requirement
- French language proficiency required (spoken and written)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs (preferred)
- Effective and flexible communication skills (preferred)
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills (preferred)
- Critical thinking skills and demonstrated ability to use own judgement and make sound decisions (preferred)
- Ability to work in fast-paced, professional, and deadline driven environment (preferred)
