Associate Employment Litigation Attorney – Wage & Hour / PAGA | Remote
Our client, a growing California plaintiff-side employment law firm, is seeking an Associate Employment Litigation Attorney with <strong>1–3 years of attorney experience</strong> to join its Wage & Hour practice. This is a fully remote opportunity for a California-licensed attorney who wants hands-on litigation experience representing employees in Wage & Hour, PAGA, and class action matters.<br><br><strong>Compensation & Benefits<br><br></strong><ul><li>Base salary: $120K–$175K, depending on experience</li><li>Performance-based compensation tied to firm recoveries</li><li>Discretionary quarterly bonuses</li><li>401(k)</li><li>Health insurance, including 50% dependent coverage</li><li>Dental and vision insurance</li><li>Flexible PTO</li><li>Employee referral program</li><li>Fully remote throughout California, with occasional in-person attendance as needed<br><br></li></ul><strong>Responsibilities<br><br></strong><ul><li>Handle plaintiff-side Wage & Hour, PAGA, and class action matters</li><li>Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other litigation documents</li><li>Conduct and defend depositions</li><li>Participate in mediations, hearings, and settlement negotiations</li><li>Perform legal research and assist with case strategy</li><li>Manage cases, deadlines, and client communications with support from senior attorneys<br><br></li></ul><strong>Qualifications<br><br></strong><ul><li>Active California Bar membership in good standing</li><li>1–3 years of experience practicing as an attorney</li><li>Employment litigation experience strongly preferred</li><li>Wage & Hour, PAGA, and/or class action experience preferred</li><li>Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills</li><li>Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a remote environment</li><li>Plaintiff-side experience preferred, but attorneys with relevant defense-side employment experience may be considered<br><br></li></ul>
