Assistant Kitchen Manager - The Orient, Trafford Centre - £28,000-£32,000 Per Annum

We are looking for talented individuals to join our growing business. Currently, we have sites across Manchester, Birmingham, Liverpool, and Leeds, with more openings planned.

  • 45 hours per week
  • Location: The Orient, Trafford Centre
  • This permanent salaried role requires availability for shifts including late evenings and weekends.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Managing the kitchen team and coordinating food orders in the absence of the Kitchen Manager
  • Supervising food preparation and cooking
  • Controlling food supplies and kitchen equipment
  • Conducting weekly stock takes and forecasting
  • Storing food safely following FIFO principles
  • Training staff on prep work and food wrapping techniques
  • Maintaining records as per company policies
  • Ensuring cleanliness and safety standards
  • Scheduling weekly rotas within labour budgets
  • Championing health and food safety compliance
