Airport Operations Coordinator

Coordinator supports the safe, secure, and efficient operation of Ontario International Airport under the direction of the Operations Supervisor. This non-exempt position pays $27.34 per hour and serves as the airport's central communications and dispatch center, coordinating information and resources among airport operations, maintenance personnel, Air Traffic Control, emergency responders, tenants, and government agencies.

Acting in a dispatcher role, the coordinator receives and routes emergency, non-emergency, and customer service calls; communicates incidents via two-way radio; and provides real-time operational support. Responsibilities also include monitoring gate activity, access control, video surveillance, fire alarms, weather systems, and emergency notification platforms. The coordinator maintains operational logs and reports while supporting airport safety and emergency response activities in accordance with the Airport Emergency Plan, FAR Part 139, and TSA requirements.

A high school diploma or equivalent, valid driver's license, and TSA-required security clearance are required.
