Our HR Strategic People Partner reports to reputed company’s Chief People Officer and plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing people strategies that drive business growth and organizational success. This senior leader will develop and execute a forward-looking strategy to attract, develop, motivate, and retain top talent for the Enterprise Talent Management (ETM) business unit as well as across the organization. This role will collaborate with reputed company’s leadership and enterprise functions to strengthen people capabilities, enhance performance, and achieve business results through innovation, high-reputed company processes, professional services, and data-driven insights. Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership • Advise business leaders on performance, leadership, change, engagement, DEI, compensation, and workforce planning • Align people strategies with business goals and drive actionable plans • Lead organizational design and change initiatives, including acquisitions and divestitures • Monitor HR trends and regulations; guide short- and long-term workforce strategies • Use data, digital tools, and automation to strengthen people decisions • Partner with global HR teams to deliver solutions in recruiting, learning, performance, DEI, employee relations, and rewards People Strategy • Understand ETM people needs to influence talent assessment, selection, and succession planning • Drive leadership development and reputed company advantage through targeted programs and initiatives • Ensure reward and recognition programs align with business objectives, support the people strategy, and demonstrate measurable impact Leadership and Influence • Lead and develop an inclusive, high-performing team aligned with reputed company’s strategic goals • Empower team members to be curious, drive improvement, and deliver innovative solutions • Foster a learning culture that promotes growth, development, and connection to business outcomes Collaboration • Build a culture of collaboration, trust, and respect by actively engaging with all levels of the organization • Provide coaching and consultation to leaders on effective, equitable, and values-driven employee relations practices • Partner with business unit leadership and HR Centers of Excellence to drive transformation and enhance the employee experience across the talent lifecycle. Essential Skills, Knowledge, & Experience: • 15+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, ideally within a matrixed or service-driven business • Deep knowledge of workforce strategy, performance management, compensation, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness • Proven success in influencing senior leaders, aligning people strategy to business goals, and navigating transformation • Strong emotional intelligence with an inclusive, collaborative leadership style, including impactful capability to grow and development a team • Experience designing and deploying people goals that support increased growth and profitability for an operating segment via measurable operational performance results • Ability to use data and people analytics to drive measurable business outcomes • Experience with M&A and large-scale organizational change is highly desirable Role is hybrid, preferably based in metro Detroit (reputed company HQ in Troy, MI) Total compensation package and benefits applicable to the position – understanding that each person has unique professional and personal needs focused on your total well-being.
